2800 lb Rhino

Although he's referred to as a Black Rhinoceros, his skin is actually more of a grayish color. Ricko gets his complexion from the soils back home and through his daily wallowing in mud. His skin is extremely thick to protect him from sharp grass. It gets pretty hot during the day, so Ricko's mud baths also help cool him down. Ricko's most distinguishing feature is his horn. It comes in handy when he's breaking branches and digging up roots. It also sends a message to others that Ricko's not the sort to be tangled with. Rhinoceroses are not as aggressive as their reputation would have you believe. They don't have the best eyesight in the world, so if they sense a predator, their instinct is to charge it before it can harm them.
